4Sight - Depression Group

A free and open peer-support system to enable mental, behavioral and emotional wellness by working together to support one another, develop good foundational habits, identify interpersonal challenges, and promote personal growth for a better life. This group is a community-based, peer-led meeting of like-minded individuals.

Group requirements:

  1. Commit to the Concept
Reinforce the 4Sight approach to Self-Esteem issues.
  2. Meet Regularly
Preferably daily, to consistently build momentum.
  3. Focus on the Future
We do not gather to discuss the past, think about what has gone wrong or explain where you are at. You do not have to do that and, really, should not. The sole goal is maintain the commitment to and participation in the group. Nudging Allowed. Negativity is not.
  4. Act Daily
The most important component is that constructive action is taken every day, even if it is a small step.

An initial group is forming now and will meet at a house in southeast Portland each morning. Walks and visits to local coffee shops are the main activities planned. Email us today to learn more, join, or setup a group in your neighborhood.
